Over the last decade, many neighborhoods have been swallowed up in the flow of gentrification. Rapidly changing facades, eerie shacks, decaying homes, gas stations are all left behind or torn down to make way for new, glistening constructions. This series is an ongoing project documenting the changing face of our city and its surroundings. It attempts to capture the mysterious, ephemeral and “out of place” aura surrounding various locations that have been forgotten, often on the edge of new urban developments.
